“Balance. You hear about it a lot when you're looking for where to go as a graduate, but I think it's actually quite rare to find it when you're a trainee, particularly in a good size firm – which is what makes Beachcroft so special. They get it right. We definitely work hard and are given lots of challenges, but we also get crucial understanding and support and we're expected to have a healthy life outside of work as well as in it. That is very refreshing in the world of law. Everyone has been friendly from the outset – even the partners go out of their way to get to know you and make you feel comfortable discussing your plans going forward. Beachcroft has a reputation you hear about – one of being very competitive in the marketplace and excellent at what they do, whilst also being human. This kind of balance is becoming increasingly scarce, but Beachcroft is one of the few firms succeeding in maintaining it.”
