“I think you get a real measure of a person by considering them as a whole. When you apply to Beachcroft, you're not just a set of exam results, you're an individual with unique talents and ambitions which they seek to encourage. In the same way, you can get a measure of a firm by looking at every part of their business and the way they approach it. Here, they put a lot of emphasis on not only being a leader in their varied fields of law, but also by conducting themselves responsibly and with personality in all that they do – something that certainly can't be said of every law firm. For instance everyone here is aware of their impact on the environment and on the communities in which we work. As such, we are a zero carbon firm (we have a Green Charter and achieved Carbon neutral status in 2007) who undertake pro-bono work as well as actively supporting local and national charities. To me that speaks volumes.”
