"Before coming to Beachcroft I was working for a claimant firm of solicitors, dealing with pre-litigated personal injury claims. I did not feel I was progressing or being challenged, and when I spoke to a contact they suggested I apply to Beachcroft.

I have to say that when I attended the assessment day it was a real challenge, but everyone was welcoming and friendly which made it easier for me to perform at my best.
"I joined as an Analyst within the Injury Risk Team, where I was assisting File Managers, Solicitors, Associates and Partners with a range of tasks to progress their files, as well as managing my own small claims files on a continuous basis.
"Recently I transferred to the Claims Validation Unit. The work is very different here and is concerned specifically with liability, quantum and causation issues. It's a new challenge and a great opportunity to enhance my legal knowledge and skills. A typical day could include drafting an application notice, preparing a witness statement or a brief to counsel, calculating costs, undertaking various searches and/or investigations.

As a general rule though, provided I've recorded adequate chargeable hours, I can always leave on time and there's never any pressure to stay late.
